THE FINAL ERA OF A DESERT CULTURE
A rare 3 year photographic project, created by the photographer Ariel Van Straten, tracking the Bedouin Sheiks of the Negev desert in Israel.
In this fascinating lecture, the participants will get to discover the real story of the Bedouin culture and It's unique way of life. The project reflects contemporary challenges and cultural conflicts faced by the older generation brought by a new modern internet generation that will soon get in their shoes.
The highly anticipated exhibition of the 30 sheiks that represent various tribes and clans from the Negev, will be presented on the 19th of August 2021 in the Beit Haomanim gallery in Tel Aviv
