PTSD AWARNESS
In the summer of 2020, I was challenged by a friend and client of mine to take part in a 25 day challenge of doing 25 pushups for 25 days to rise awareness for PTSD sufferers and the lack of support they get from the Ministry of defense and the government.
25 is the average number of suicides committed by PTSD sufferers in Israel every year.
The subject of PTSD is very personal to me and I decided to take the awareness project a step further by photographing 10 images that symbolize the effects of PTSD.
Every day for 10 days I shot an image, titled it and wrote a few sentences.
The pictures were uploaded to FB and the response was very emotional.
I released the copyright on the images to any foundation or association that works for PTSD awareness to use as they wish to promote this important issue.
